The FVH-320 ARCA Swiss fluid video/pan head is only 19 oz. and 3.5" tall. The internal spring counter-weight system makes this is an amazingly smooth head that is perfect for heavier spotting scopes and binoculars. This allow user to create professional video & panoramic photography. It is the ideal digi-scope video/optics head because of its smooth movement and high stability. Ideal for outdoor use where weight matters but you still need high-powered reliable performance. Unlike other heads, the ARCA QR plates can be introduced from either the end Arca slot or can be "rolled in" from the side. Also, the entire side rail translates to clamp firmly to the QR plate, not just by a small "pusher" like many other heads have ( i.e. the VA-5). It has both a retracting safety retention pin and 2x center-line retention screw slots for QR plates with safety pins. This way, your scope will always be safe accidently from falling out.
Perfect for long distance glassing and quadrant scanning using high-power spotting scopes, binoculars, and long camera lenses. The comfortably long handle is reversable for both left and right hand users. The bubble level in the base assures proper azimuth alignment for video and nightscape panning shots.
